I was browsing in ...I am woman applicant this year. I was browsing in general and found out that there is one woman who is Asst. Product Manager in google and finalist in Ms.India World wide contests and seems to be doing modelling too. She wants to work in Bollywood(Indian films). She is attending Stan this fall. She was definitely very energetic in her blog. My thoughts on this<BR/><BR/>Does schools underplay the stars(in any field) in schools so that applicant numbers dont go down? Schools brag abt their alums but not abt who they were before. Is it a conscious move? If the applicants are so good, adcom has not choice but to give those the admits. Thats fine. What abt those thousands of applicants who fall into the trap of "We look for leadership potential, what you learnt matterns and not thos experiences all that blahh......." marketing statements by shcools.
